So I decided to give SublimeText a shot. In this post, I want to share theconfigurations necessary to write and compile LaTeX source code and to previewthe produced PDF files.
$TeX$ is like a programming language, you need a compiler and other necessarycomponents such as packages and classes to compile your source files. ForWindows, TeX Live is an excellent choice. Youcan download it here. Wheninstalling TeX Live, you can choose the full scheme, which will installeverything you need on your computer.
The full installation of TeX Live may take more than half of an hour dependingon various factors. Stay patient. After installation, you should add TeX Liveexecutables to your system PATH. On my system, the directory where theseexecutables reside is D:texlive2017binwin32.
Restarting your computer may be required for PATH change to take effect.
